NavaLab Unveils Second-generation AUV Prototype

NavaLab's marine robotics team field-tested its second-generation autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) in the inner Gulf of Thailand. The new model brings substantial improvements to navigation and battery life over its predecessor.

The team plans to expand testing to additional reef sites later this year and will share survey results with local authorities to support ongoing ecosystem management.
