Nonthacha began his career in the maritime industry as a Deck Cadet before moving into freight forwarding in import/export logistics for several years. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science from Kasetsart University and a Master's degree in Marine Technology from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, where he is now pursuing a PhD, with a research focus on navigation decision support systems that propose multiple collision-avoidance routes, extended to account for wind disturbance and fuel oil consumption. As Co-Founder of NavaLab-TH, he played a key role in establishing the research group.
