Thanapol Kidprasert
Co-Founder | Technology Management
Born and raised in the coastal province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thanapol has been drawn to maritime activities since childhood — sailing, boatbuilding, fishing, and engines. A lifelong connection to the sea led him to pursue maritime technology. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Kasetsart University, followed by several years of engineering and software development work. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in the Marine AI Program at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, with research comparing deep learning architectures for diagnosing propeller faults in unmanned surface vessels using hydroacoustic signals. As Co-Founder of NavaLab-TH, he helped establish the research group and leads its technology management.
